Several first descents in West Sumatra, Indonesia. Also paddled in South Africa, Swaziland, Zambia, Sweden and Norway. But mostly just having a great time in beautiful places with my friends is achieving the goal already.
Any boat, as long as it’s a Fluid Kayak. Using H20 and Werner paddles, Snap Dragon and Level 6 decks, Kokatat dry top, Astral PFD and Sweet helmets, as well as a few other things from Palm and Goya. No complaints.
Anywhere with long rides. On a given day, Derde Steen, Karmers (Kamer Van 17) or Melkbosstrand’s Tubewave. All these spots are in Cape Town.
Perspectives in paddling life style
Just enjoy it - paddle for yourself.
How is kayaksurf in South Africa?
It’s awesome, that’s all I need to say…
Do you know Portugal?
Yes, they speak Portuguese there!
All the best news and photos of surf kayaking from around the world! Stay tuned.
Special thanks to
Jeroen Houttuin, Celliers Kruger, all of awesome my friends, and my mom and dad.
