New Limited Edition "A" Series paddle from Bending Branches

New Limited Edition "A" Series paddle from Bending Branches

"We're only making 750 of this exclusive paddle and will stop production at that point."

Bending Branches paddles announced the release of its newest product - the Bending Branches Limited Edition "A" Series paddle. This is no run-of-the-woodshop paddle...It's the most hands-on, handcrafted canoe paddle Bending Branches has ever made, for paddlers who treasure the finer things in life.

Handcrafted touches include the double-bend design and ovalized shaft, designed to make every stroke more comfortable and efficient. A special ergonomically-angled palm grip aligns with the paddler's wrist and forearm, providing additional comfort.

"We're really excited about the cachet and performance of this exclusive new paddle," said Bending Branches Marketing Manager Pat Trepp. "We sold out of it in its first consumer show, and it's continued to be a paddle that's catching the eye of serious canoeists. We're only making 750 of this exclusive paddle and will stop production at that point."

It features a 21-laminate shaft made of basswood, a U.S. hardwood that's a source of natural beauty and uncommon strength. The rich hue and ultra-light weight of the paddle comes from roasted basswood. Roasting the wood makes it lighter and this is possibly the first paddle to use the technique. Exclusive Rockgard protection is found around the entire blade edge; with a fiberglass-reinforced blade for extra durability. Special labeling on each paddle includes signatures of Bending Branches' founders and each purchaser's distinct paddle production number. The A Series has an exquisite finish that resembles fine furniture. Includes a rich, sueded-cloth blade-pouch to protect the blade during transport. They are 100 percent made in the America.

Paddles are available in two-inch increments from 48" to 54."
