Horshoe Bend, Payette River, The Bladder

The BladderPlayspot: USA, Idaho, Horshoe Bend, Payette River, The Bladder.

What's it like

The Bladder is created when 10,000+ cfs rush over an inflatable dam in Horseshoe Bend ID. The wave can go from super easy to catch and a glassy wave, to a pumping hole that you don't really want to be in. The reason that the Bladder changes is due to the inflatable dam's air moving from side to side. The whole dynamics of the wave will change in a matter of seconds.

The Bladder

Route description
