What's it like

aosta valley ayasse falls

Two waterfalls of 8 meters each. You must put-in 1 kilometer upstream and paddle down the class V rapids. The falls are in a gorge, easy to see from a bridge just upstream, but it is not so easy to get out the river between the 2 falls.

The best waters levels are in May-June, estimate 2 cumecs.

How to get there

In Hone, take the road that goes upstream on the right river side. Park the car on the first big turn and take the footway. On the bridge you will see the fall. A better put-in is 1 kilometer upstream on a little dam, but you have to carry your boat all the way up. The take-out is after the falls on left side bank.

Locals

We've never seen anybody there!

Events

There's a gathering a few kilometers upstream each year in July.
