Black Forest, Präg, Prägbach, Prägbach Falls
Waterfall: Germany, Schwarzwald (Black Forest), Präg, Prägbach, Prägbach Falls
What's it like
A fall of approximately 7 meters, with a nice acceleration at the entry.
The surrounding WW is class V, right from the put-in.
The water is cold, as it is only runnable in winter (November - march).
The water level at Zell on the river Weise sould be > 100 cm.
How to get there
Coming from the Wiesetal on the road L 131, turn at the village Geschwend in direction Präg and follow the road until arriving at the village. Here is a good place for leaving the car. After the village, continuing leftwards for about 3 km in direction Bernau, you'll see a parking lot on the right side of the road. The waterfall is just a few steps from this parking lot. If the water levels are low, take-out should be done at this point.
Here are some maps from Mapquest that may help you a little finding the falls:
At high water levels, the section until village Präg can be run, but be aware of obstructing trees!
