ANIK & JAY are co-founders and co-owner of Tahoe Watermans / Watermans Landing alongside Anik's sister Kina. They are co-directors of Tahoe Paddle Racing and the Tahoe Junior Waterman's Youth Programs. This dynamic duo also co-founded the Lake Tahoe Waterman Association, a non-profit organization with the mission to steward the land and the lake and promote human-power watercraft education and safety. In addition, they work with a network of like-minded organizations to conserve and protect Lake Tahoe and its public access. Jay is a father, husband, business owner, paddler, and coach. Jay has qualified to compete in outrigger canoe racing in California, represented the USA at the stand-up paddle World Championships, and placed 3rd overall in the Ironman race in Bora Bora. Jay still dominates Northern California paddling events.
Anik is a mother, a wife, and a CEO. She is an athlete at heart with a national and international competitive background in paddling sports and ski racing. Anik has active water and mountain-based lifestyle. Her focus is on the growth of Tahoe watersports while sharing the lifestyle of staying active and healthy.
