After achieving his goal of becoming UK Windsurfing Champion and with the list of injuries not getting any shorter John Hibbard decided to swap his windsurfing board for the board room and co-founded Red Paddle Co in 2008. Over the past 12 years Red Paddle Co has grown into a world leading premium Stand Up Paddle Board brand. With distributors in over 60 markets around the world the brand is going from strength to strength. John’s background in professional sports has given him the tenacious attitude needed to succeed in a sector of the industry that was the underdog but that has now become the dominant sector.
