Hidden by a cirque within the Peter Lougheed Provincial Park in the Canadian Rockies, Rawson Lake is an alpine gem in the heart of Kananskis Country.
We had the opportunity to hike paddle boards into the lake.
We did have an o-ring blow out on the K-20 pump which could have been problematic had we been in a more remote backcountry setting without people carrying screw drivers. However, with the aid of those people's tools, we were able to inflate the boards just enough for a fun tour.
Is there a better way to explore an alpine lake? Perhaps, but we were stoked for the adventure in paradise.
Thank you Jackie for the company.
Thanks for watching.
Hala Carbon Playa is the board I carried.
