When traveling from South Beach, Miami to the Everglades, it’s hard to find a common throughline. From the vibrant nightlife along Ocean Drive in South Beach to high-grass swamp land sprinkled with alligators in the Everglades, the two areas feel like worlds apart, when in reality, it’s barely an hour’s drive.
Thankfully, we have Sean Murphy, BOTE Director of Photography, to tie it all together in a shiny, slimy, and at some points, all-out terrifying package. Making his way from South Beach to the Everglades, Sean’s traveling with some interesting people and stopping off to hang out with some equally interesting area residents.
This is a story much like little red riding hood if little red riding hood traveled into the forest with some poacher hunters, stopped by to see Tarzan, bagged a couple of Burmese pythons, and ended up not at grandmother's house but the home of a swamp legend, tucked away in the marsh.
