We’ve drawn from our in-house expertise and experience in every area of the Rip-R Evo 2’s development, including producing a Carbon Infusion seat, hull stiffener, and hooker thigh grip attachments for International Spec models at our composite workshop in Derby, where we’ve been building composite kayaks since the late 60s.

The optimal design will have micro benefits to give the paddler a micro speed advantage, giving them the few centimetres they need to get their paddle in first and put their competition in their wake; Carbon Infusion results in the stiffest and lightest outfitting possible, optimising power transfer through key contact points to the kayak’s hull.

This advantage carries throughout the whole of the race, allowing the paddler to make faster, more precise turns, access greater acceleration, maintain finer control over their kayak through surging currents and jostling to be first out of a gate, and ultimately make the most out of each ounce of energy expended to ensure they retain enough to still give 110% across the finish line.
