This is one of, if not the lightest 9 ft stand up paddle boards availabe. Coming in at under 19 lbs. Low volume, intended for either very experienced paddle boarders up to 190 lbs, or lighter, novice or better riders up to 160 lbs . The principal use for a larger rider on this SUP board is paddle surfing or sup training. For lighter riders, the board is a good maneuverable choice for progressing in all aspects of the sport; Flatwater touring, surfing, or training. Many of our customers , who may be more stable on a 10’ paddleboard, go with the 9’ in order to get a better workout, or for ease of storage and transport (these SUPs fit inside most hybrid / SUV’s). Same great all-around shape for 2015 with a fresh design and improved construction. As with any board construction, all soft top boards are not created equal. BOGA Soft Tops are essentially full hard boards, with double 1/8" Unilateral Stringers, fully glassed and then wrapped in tough guard EVA. The first 1.5" of the nose and tails are chopped and then re-built using high density EVA blocks, you can literally drop these boards on the cement from several feet with no damage. The fin boxes are re-enforced with PVC and the deck pad is integrated into the construction of the board. Tie downs and GoPro mounts round out the feature set of the boards. We use top of the line Korean drop stitch technology (by Mirasol), manufactured with heavy duty 600D polyester yarns core.The outer skin is constructed from 2600g/sqm2 delivering the strongest and most durable inflatable SUP board available.
