My Friends Yellow Riot Disco got stolen off his roof rack in Cardiff today. They cut the front grab loop to get the rack lock off.

It has the previous owners number in it a power seat with pink white grey foam seat pad no front central buoyancy and a cut front grab loop.

If you are offered this boat please report it to the POLICE and contact me, The owner would like it back

Geeeez, what's wrong with people!? And I thought we had crime and what not... Check out some murder rates. Note, Lesotho is a country within SA at number 5 and Swaziland a neighbour of ours at number 3. We take the number 2 spot.. (from one source)

Really seems to be an issue in the UK. Here in Switzerland I only know of one case where a couple of boats were stolen during an international event. Even some of the shops here leave their boats outside at night....

yeah its really sh*t at the minute I often leave my boats outside or on the roof including my carbon surf kayak no prob! I now take them off each time and lock them away out of prying eyes

problem is ebay if u ask me, people can now sell them easily but more importantly know how much they are worth. ebay should post registrations so u have to be from a real address.

Bummer for your mate hope he finds it. Does his car insurance cover him from theft from roof rack? I know NW offer this at quite a reasonable amount considering cost of replacement, some hose hold insurance companies also cover this under personal affects. worth checking out.
