BC Paddlers: what's the water like? How do I dress? 16 years 7 months ago #22671

I'm going to be doing some paddling on BC's glorious rivers and I need to know what to wear. I'm used to paddling the Ottawa in summer, and I've heard that the water is going to be a little colder here. I'm no winter paddler, so I'm just looking for a recommendation on something to get me through three seasons. Dry-top? Semi-dry? Long sleeve? Short-sleeve?

Thanks. See you on the river.

Well, I live and paddle in the lakes in the Okanagan and .. well I don't usually wear anything.. except sandles and a hat, water is warm. Don't know about the rivers. Where abouts in BC are you going to be paddling?
