I am going to Boston MA early next year. Does anyone know of any kayak stores in the Area?
I would like to bring home some toys.

if you are looking for whitewater gear you are going to be hard pressed to find anything directly in the boston area. There are a couple of places In Western MA which options including Zoar outdoor in Charlemont but that is a good 2-21/2 hrs from Boston. same with Westfield Watersports in Southwick MA. Your best bet may be to try to find a place in new hampshire. The issue is that nobody in eastern MA, runs whitewater

I found a couple shops from this link.

I called the place in Rockport, about 60 min from Boston (based on Mapquest). Theyy do carry whitewater gear and boats.

There are also some NH shops listed as well.

Hope this hits ya before you get to Boston.

never knew about the place in rockport, the drive isnt bad if you are not going during rush hour. it is definitely work the drive as the coastline is gorgeous out there and Gloucester which borders it is one of the oldest fishing villiages in the country
