Just wanted to share a wee video of tripping around in Norway last summer:

Yeah that was a crazy moment...the paddler is Anton (now in Team Liquidlogic Europe) and the commentator you hear while Anton is fighting with the backwash of the first drop is Bernhard Mauracher (many first descents in Pakistan and the Alps). He says in a very calm way to the other spectators "Yes it's backwashing"...it sounds as if it is the most normal thing there is :-D
If Anton had swum he would have to swim the second drop as well....not a good thing.
