It does look good. I love the colour of the water there.

Thanks for moving this Adrian I didnt mean to sound impatient I just thought the European Board would be a better place for this thread.

I was at Soca last spring and can heartly recommend it to anyone who is mainly looking for class 3-4 whitewater. Food is great and there is lots of good restaurants around and the price is quite affordable albeit not cheap. Vegetarian food is also available.

Here's a videoclip I made of our trip:

Hi,
I've been to Soca. (last time - quite recently)
The place is stunning, scenery is amazing.
The paddling varies - there are a few different sections, beautiful water.
Depends on what U are looking for.
Food is good, a lot similar to Italy - after all it is very close by. U'll always find a pizza or pasta to satisfy even vegetarian needs ;)
When R U planning to go? I think the season there is pretty much done for this year...
Feel free to give me a shout for any specific questions U might have.
Cheers
Dima

I was there last easter and enjoyed it to the fullest. The place is beautiful, food is good and the locals easy going.

The best way to check the place out would be YouTube and also on Google Earth.

Cheers ;)

Soca:

Go go go go go go !

Its a great place, great river, great people, great food. top european paddling destination.

To be honest in 4 days I was pretty much done on the river and you can paddle top to bottom in a day but for the less able people in the group it offered everything from grade 2 - 4 plenty to practice on and the watar colour is amazing.

Very glad i went, great pizza, great ice cream.
