The Tara canyon III (III+) is probably still runnable but the other rivers (Moraca etc.) will be too low. There are articles in Kayak Session and Canoe Kayak UK about paddling in Montenegro.

This is indeed a really useful guide. When we were there in April 2007 (high water) it was not clear if the difficult drops on the Moraca lower canyon ie:

"The second half of the canyon is suitable for advanced kayakers - but caution is required after the entrance into M5: a difficult grade IV+ rapid follows an unrunable siphon."

were portagable. From the road high above it was really difficult to judge the size of water and we couldn't see if the IV+ could be walked if necessary (on rh bank - not visible from above). As a result we didn't run that stretch - which has always been a great regret - but also a great reason to go back!

Any info about the walkability of those rapids welcome.
