I put a lot of those cool new Facebook Like buttons on Playak: events, films, books, gear, boats, articles, and more will follow.

For each 'thing' on Playak you can now immediately see which of your Facebook friends like it. If you click Like, it is not only published to your Facebook stream, but it will also appear in your Facebook profile (Info tab). So if you like a certain boat, just click Like and it will be shown in your profile as a Product that you like. Movies will show up under Movies, etc.

Pretty excited about this....

Look out for buttons like the one below:

This may be a good moment to make you aware of the new Ultimate Paddling Buyers' Guide that I've been (and still am) preparing behind the scenes:

This is a new guide browsing software that I'm still developing, but to help you find your favorite products, you may find it easier than the Buyers Guide link from the main Playak menu.

Some 3000 products already, complete with user reviews, ratings, and now also Like buttons...

The software needs some polishing, and still lacks a searh function, but for browsing the guide it's quite handy already. There will also be a Facebook version of the same guide.

I added the search function today, so you can now just search for the name of your favorite boat, click it, Like it and voila, it's in your Facebook profile as a 'Product' you like.

I think some people haven't noticed the buyers guide yet but I think it's fantastic!! It's great to be able to see all that info on one site, and to be able to compare products. Good job Jeroen! :)
