It's time to throw your weight around. The Lucid is designed specifically for larger freestyle boaters. Its aggressive lines give super slicey ends and spectacular aerial blunts. Perception's freestyle range ensures that all paddlers have the ultimate play boat to fit their style and size.

If you're happy, you're successful.

I'm new to playboats, so I did the cheap thing and bought a used boat, I'm 205lbs 6'1\" and went with a perception lucid. I love the boat, well at least for the first 45minutes, but after that I get severe foot pain. I first had to take out some of the outfitting (hip pads and knee pads) just to feel comfortable. I have nothing as far as foot braces either. I'm looking for a sloution, should I try to get a different boat, if so what would you suggest? or is there maybe somthing I can try to do as far as the foot blocks to be able to at least make it a few hours?

-thanks,
Brian

Perhaps you could move the seat slightly back to give your feet more room? Another thing I noticed was that if you paddle without a decent footrest your feet tend to get squashed because you tend to put some force on them.

What I would do is: if necessary move the seat slightly back, put in footrests (perhaps the inflatable Jackson Happy feet? People are really positive about it) and try to outfit the boat to your specific wishes.

BTW: lots of older playboat designs have less room for feet and legs than most modern designs. So it may be possible that you never fit the boat as well as you'd love to. I am 6'4\" and have spent a lot of money and time on finding a good boat for me. I'll stick to my Fluid Flirt for a while now, regardless of what people say ;)
