:jump: Just wanted to share an experience: using standard tennis overgrip on paddles is a perfect way to have great grip. Better than messy sex-wax, cheap and easy to exchange.

My own personal favorite is Wilson aire-cushion super-tack overgrip:

but the again, i've only tried 3 different brands and there are dozens it seems. If someone knows of a better brand, i'd be happy to hear.

you bet, it is a really slim fabric, but just the material makes a big difference....

would it make much of a difference to the feel of a paddle? personaly i can't even paddle with gloves on cos there's barely any feel to the paddle.

mind you, this is not the plushy or thick leathery stuff that you sometimes see on tennis rackets. It's a very thin smooth fabric grip tape.

I never use gloves either. In winter I sometimes use latex surgery gloves. They remove the chill factor and you hardly notice you're wearing them...
