Hey
was just windering if anybody has paddled with Ty Warp paddles. ive been checkin out their website , they look funky, but dont know anybody who has used them.

so are they strong and durable? do they chip or fray?
do they have good power? do they flutter through the water or are they very rigid?
i know the heavier paddles with glass in them will be more flexy.

does anyone have any other good or bad comment on the paddle

any info appreciated
cheers
brian

i would be concearned that price reflects quality, although i have never used ty paddles they look like a lot of time has been spent painting them which brings to question how much time has been spent designing function :?:
i have not had a lot of luck with lower priced composit blades my michels and seven 2's both leaked, i am now awaiting a set of werners, because after speaking to numerous paddlers this seems to be the brand that lasts but then again you should expect that with the price you pay for them.

good luck, and happy paddlin

also most companies will allow you to choose an angle it just makes it a special order but this should cost you no more, for example i have specified streight shaft 30degree double diamonds, and this has been a 6-8 week order instead of buying them then and there.
