When you mean learning to flatwater does that mean you can bow stalll and stern stall but not connect them? Try doing squirts, surfing, or spinning on the wave or hole. BTW if you can almost flatwater cartwheel then cartwheeling in a hole is much easier. good luck!

no i cant bow stall or stall on the stern yet but i can double pump fairly well. lol. its very sloppy though and i go in nearly every time. ive been paddling about 4 yrs but ive only had my BCU 3 star about 3 months. believe me when i say im no-where near as good as the guys that i paddle with. ill have a go at a cartwheel in a hole though. thanks for that. si there anything i should know about rollin in a hole because some of the holes that i have seen look quite scary.

Urge Offline Platinum Member Posts: 760 Thank you received: 0	elliot wouldnt worry too much bout rollin in the holes in the nene just try and relax for a few seconds then try to roll if one side doesnt work try the other! just practise in the smaller holes in pool c i thnk then once you got through a few ends move to the bigger hole in poolA? just try and relax and always lead with your head try to keep looking upstream and just practise preactise practise
