Jun 9 Social Instagram A screen shot I pulled from some of @adventure_on_outdoors chest mounted GoPro footage. This is what it looked like before the storm caught us and flooded the river 20+ feet on day one of four. #Tx100MileStand #IgTexas
Jun 8 Social Instagram One more shot of the first ever paddle board trip down the what is usually a completely dry section of the Cibolo creek. Making the best of the #texasfloods
Jun 8 Social Instagram Making the best of our Texas floods and hitting the swollen creeks on kayaks and SUPs
Jun 6 Social Instagram A screen shot from the documentary 'Tx 100 Mile Stand' edit of us trying to outrun a major storm on day one........we failed miserably lol. #Tx100MileStand #AdventureTexas #igtexas
Jun 5 Social Instagram Day 3 of 4 we ran out of drinking water on our 100 mile SUP trip. Due to the flooding we didn't want to drink from the main river because of the run-off of pesticides from the surrounding farmlands. Luckily @qrareomarket an awesome outdoor outfitter in Cuero Tx provided us with some LifeStraws. Once we found a side creek with a little cleaner water, we were able to drink our fill right away instead of having to take the time to pull out the big purifiers and that is huge when you've been bush whacking your way around giant log jams all day with no water. Thanks @lifestraw_
Jun 4 Social Instagram 'There is no rushing a river. When you go there, you go at the pace of the water and that pace ties you into a flow that is older than life on this planet. Acceptance of that pace, even for a day, changes us, reminds us of other rhythms beyond the sound of our own heartbeats.' - Jeff Rennicke #Tx100MileStand This was one of the widest parts of the river throughout the 100 mile trip to the Gulf and it will be burned in my mind forever............ Sorry the documentary is taking so long but I want to do it right and this is my first one. I'll be sure to let y'all know when it's finished
