Sandwich Island Composites manufactures high-performance, composite Stand-Up Paddleboards, and one and four man outrigger canoes. We shape and design our own plugs, then build our own molds to exacting tolerances. Our products are thoroughly tested on Maui's North Shore and throughout the Hawaiian Islands. Performance and strength have always been our top priorities. We are price competitive.

Let's face it, the fiberglass fabrication industry is not exactly green. We waste as little as possible, try our utmost conserve and be the best stewards that we can. All boards are manufactured in Maui, Hawaii by people who live and play here.

From initial concept through design, creating the tooling and molds, and ultimately the final product - is a pretty small window (compared to mass-produced boards designed and built abroad). This ensures that you are getting the most to date product available, not an idea that was conceived a year ago.
