African Veins, compiled by Celliers Kruger, is a collection of paddling stories by various African paddlers.
The paddlers who contributed stories to the book are Corran Addison, Graeme Addison, Tim Biggs, Dave Briggs, Hendri Coetzee, Hugh du Preez, Craig Eksteen, Oli Feuilette, Steve Hardy, Mike Harrison, Andrew Kellet, Celliers Kruger, Dave Manby, Gareth Ochse, Ross O'Donoghue, Peter Ridgway, Chris Robberts, Jaco Saaiman, Jamie Simpson, Nicola Simpson, Adrian Tregoning and Willem van Riet.
There are 29 stories in the book. Some are accounts of epic expeditions, some describe tragic river accidents, some share the hilarious side of river paddlers. It's a great selection of stories, as can be expected from the diverse group of paddlers who contributed.
The book is available in soft cover format, A5 size, 300 pages.
