Discover the quality of a fiberglass composite with pricing comparable to plastic kayaks. How can we do this ? Well it's simple. Where other manufactures use an H track extrusion to assemble the deck to hull, price their kayaks the same as ours and want about $250.00 upcharge for a fiberglass outside seam, we chose to build this kayak with the same h-track as they do and reduce the price of the Aurora...because the truth is it's cheaper to build a kayak this way! So enjoy the savings, and if you would prefer a fiberglass outside seam we would be happy to do it, just ask.
Discover a loon's call on a shallow bay, a lake or the ocean. The Aurora's performance addresses all skill levels. Loaded or empty this kayak retains a great balance of initial and secondary stability. The large cockpit opening and a 15" deck height will accommodate paddlers of many sizes.
The Aurora is ideal for medium to large paddlers, but is also accommodating to smaller paddlers who choose to customize the cockpit fit. While day tripping or on a longer tour, the Aurora will track well and is easy to edge and maneuver. Ultimately, we've just made composite touring kayaks that much more accessible to all paddlers.
