I am 16 years old and have been Kayaking for a few years now, the inazone was my first boat. It has been perfect for learning in and beginning white water. It's high volume makes it VERY stable and easy to get used to. On the other hand however, it's high volume makes it very hard to do any sort of river play and is not very easy to surf.
I have now bought a play boat but will keep my inazone as it is a great river runner for longer trips and an all-round quality boat.
The inazone is a very good all-rounder boat and I highly reccomend it to any kayaker looking to improve and learn new things.

A good first boat
About the reviewer
This was my first ever boat witch i used for about 4 or 5 mouths befor i movesd on to a perception blaze 6.9Test environment
i only ever used it on flat water and small surfReview
Its a first great boat i learnt all the basics and even how to roll in the very limeted time i had in it.It was great on flat water stable fast and moveable.
Then i took it on a quite good size surf now it may of just been my limited experience but i found the boat nose dipping and after the nose dip I found I was being trashed.
The only other thing i found was it is not the most comfortable boat as it had a Rapid+
outfitting witch is not the best outfitting in the world and once you have sat in a wavesport you never want to go back but if its your first boat as it was mine then you know no different.
Conclusion
A great first boat for beginners for just getting into the sport and well worth is as their is no point getting something to advanced for you straight awayReview

A great all-round boat for beginner/intermediates
I have been kayaking for several years now, and I bought this boat on a budget. In that respect, it was brilliant. For its cost, it is a great piece of kit. After buying it, I was very happy with its maneuverability, as well as it's easy rolling. It is a great all-round boat, and I have used it in many different locations, for many different purposes, sea-surfing, river-running, etc. It has a very flat back end, allowing for decent squirting on fast-ish water.
Despite its many good qualities, it is a quite high-volume boat, and has a rather chunky bow. This allows it to fit practically anyone (two of my friends have used and enjoyed it, one is 6'3", one is 5'2"), but also limits it when it comes to river play. It is very stable, due to its high-volume, but also very difficult to get any big moves on, when in a stopper, or on waves.
In conclusion, I guess, this is a very good boat for it's low price (its Kayak of the Decade award is well deserved), however would be more suitable for lower grade paddlers. Once you get more advanced, it becomes quite an encumberance when it comes to play, but still a great river-runner, giving great stability in higher-grade water.
