The canoe for a little family

We, the shipyard “Pouch”, have developed a new folding canoe for you, focusing on you being able to use it as a single scull or as a canoe for a little family. You can remove its back seats and use it as a single scull. However, we have developed some additional equipment to add more seats to the back of the boat so you can take a little boat trip with your two children or you can invite another friend for a nice little voyage.

The new way of adjusting the sponsons adds besides safety buoyancy a buffer zone between the bottom ladder and the boat’s skin. Therefore the damaging of the skin is prevented in case of accidentally running to ground. Moreover this creates a supplementary bilge which improves the canoe’s agility, depending on the inflation of the sponons. Further more, the canoe is extremely well streamlined, because the washboard is clearly shaped.

You can easily taut the boats skin with the help of the loops we have adjusted. The canoe is extremely light and comfortably to transport by means of the handles in front and in the back. For its packing mass of 1.23 metres it can be taken everywhere without problems. You can operate the jointures made of high – grade steel without difficulty for their simple folding mechanism. We have deep water varnished the canoe’s framework and we used tear proof synthetic fibre matched with high quality Trevira tissue for the canoe’s skin.
