Designed and tested in our backyard on the Narrows of the Green River, the Huck is water smart and rock friendly.
At 7’ 7" with a chined displacement hull and 18" of combined rocker, the Huck excels in tight, technical environments. With play-boat-like control, just the right amount of volume to fit most paddlers, and safety features like our Black Diamond Security Bars, integrated wall support, and roomy cockpit, it’s ready to huck when you are.
Key Features:
• Chined displacement hull: Play-boat-like control, stability and nice soft landings
• 18" of combined rocker: Increases maneuverability, boofs easily, slides easily up and over obstacles, and resurfaces quickly
• Integrated wall support: Increases lateral wall stability, fewer holes, and less weight
• Large cockpit: Easy exits
• Security Bars by Black Diamond: 7000 series aluminum for maximum strength
• Stiffy-Hull system: Stiffness, control, safety and hull durability
• Flex Capacitor backband: Ratchet system for in-seat adjustment and maximum control
• Adjustable seat and thigh braces: Custom fit and trim
• Hip Hugger outfitting: No hassle outfitting for comfort and control

fun boat
I'm a Class IV paddler, I've been paddling for 3 years
I paddled the Huck 2 days on Clear Creek@215 cfs Class IV, low volume steep creek.
My prevoius creek boat was a Necky Blunt. In comparison The blunt fells more stable but for me it feels too big. The Huck feels almost like a playboat. It turns faster, gets up to speed faster and feels much more lively. Both boats have no-frills outfitting that I prefer. The Huck feels very comfortable for me. The plastic on thr Huck feels hard and slick. The Huck does feel a bit more "Tippy" than the Blunt. My first day in the Huck I spent more time than usual upside down. The second day though I found my balence and had a blast.
I think that the Huck will make harder runs and creeks more fun than a bigger creek boat. If I were running the extreme stuff I would rather be in my old Blunt.
