The Sunny's will be most enjoyed for recreational touring & paddling fun. It is rock-solid, tough, and fast. Based on the design of the successful Helios, the Sunny is slightly longer Sunny and can be paddled as a single or double (with enough space left over for a kid or dog).

Somewhat more stable than the Helios, the open cockpit Sunny is a capable and versatile kayak designed for comfort and easy maneuvering.

The Sunny packs compactly in its own drybag/backpack and can be set up in less than 10 minutes (really!). Hand-crafted with a heavy duty rubber coated 1,200-denier Nitrylon™, the Sunny will deliver years of paddling fun for a family of adventurers. The Sunny comes with a removable tracking fin.

It can easily be changed into a single kayak for solo paddlers. Because the boat is double-ended, the forward seat can be turned around and the tracking fin swapped to the other end to allow a solo paddler to sit in the middle of the Sunny and be balanced in a cross wind. About the same dimensions as the Helios II, we recommend the Sunny if you are going to be primarily paddling solo, but want the ability to paddle double too.

Back when we first presented the boat, Sea Kayaker Magazine reviewed it, and clocked a top speed of over 5 mph.
