The story of the short boat started in Landsberg.

Together with AKC-founder Holger Machatscheck, ESKIMO developed the “TOPOLINO” with a length of 220 cm. At a time when 4 meter kayaks were predominant this short boat marked a revolution in white water kayaking.
If there is such a thing as the cult kayak, the Topo is it! Offering huge fun in a small package the Topo allows you to negotiate the smallest of creeks and rivers. Very popular with extreme paddlers, this amazingly nimble kayak has allowed fanatics to tackle previously unrunnable falls, chutes and gorges. With its diminutive size and playful nature the Topo will surf the smallest of waves and play in the smallest of holes, yet it is large enough to accommodate large paddlers comfortably. Easy to store and easy to transport.
