KENDO
• the third generation

It just surfs and surfs and surfs.

..

The new and third generation of the KENDO makes kayaking life a little easier: easier to play, easier to turn, easier to roll.

And with the new and bigger cockpit area life is getting a little bit safer and more comfortable.

Life is hard enough, paddle the new KENDO

About the reviewer

About the reviewer

I'm an intermediate to advanced river runner

Test environment

River running, class 3-4

Review

good :
• Very fast
• very easy to roll
• lots of room for feet in the front and gear in the back
• Enter an eddy in a class 3-4 rapid and you'll feel like you're driving a F-1 !!!

bad :
• a little nervous for beginners
• Eskimo review says it's good for surfing, but with a 8'6'' long boat you need a long wave for a front surf

Conclusion

It's narrow which makes it a little nervous for beginners, but for more experienced paddlers it'a an advantage, since it allows to come back from a bad lean with just an hip snap, without even needing to brace.
