High performance plastic slalom boat developed by Galasport and Delsyk Design. Based on the Toro, the boat that Alexander Grimm paddled to a gold medal in the whitewater slalom competition at the Beijing Olympics in 2008. Excellent training boat for athletes, and also a good boat for clubs and beginners. Very fast, very manouverable, but feels stable and predictable. Features include adjustable footpegs, adjustable composite seat, intagrated thigh braces, and full-length mini-cell pillars. For more info or for pricing, contact:

I have been waiting for years for someone to build a boat like this! Its pretty much the only boat i paddle now. As long as you are not running steep creeks, you can take this pretty much anywhere.

About Me
Former national team slalom paddler. Been paddling for 26 years. Have spent lots of time playboating, squirting, paddling C-1, flatwater sprint boats, pretty much anything that floats. Currently spend most time playboating or running rivers, mostly class III-IV, and teaching kids to paddle. Level 3 NCCP certified coach. I am 180 cm tall (about 5'11"), and weigh 80 kg (about 175 lb).
Pros / The Good
Very easy to paddle. Very predictable and solid feeling, but still has the manouverability of a full-on racing boat. Tracks well, turns on a dime, and is easy to roll. Due to slalom style seat and being relatively narrow, this boat is great for smaller or younger paddlers. However, there is also lots of room in the bow (and adjustable footpegs) for long legs, and enough volume to handle larger paddlers.
Cons / The Bad
The stern has more volume and is a little thicker than a real racing boat, making it difficult to do stern pivots, especially for lighter paddlers. On the flip side this makes the boat better for river running and for larger paddlers, and it increases durability. The slalom style seat may take some getting used to for people accustomed to cushy playboat outfitting, and may be a little small for the largest paddlers. The boat length does not meet ICF standards (its shorter), which may be an issue for some.
