Finally.
.. the boat that allows the 200+ lbs. paddler to enjoy high performance surfing without sacrificing comfort. With a roomy cockpit and smaller stern, the Vortex sets a new standard for a "big boys" boat. At 6'3" and 190 lbs. I found this kayak to provide the responsiveness, speed and stability that smaller paddlers enjoy in the Crossfire. While I was instructing recreational racers at the Dagger Cup in Japan, I found the Vortex's outfitting to be very comfortable. Perfect for those long afternoons sitting in a boat using sign language to teach kayaking to a large group of highly motivated Japanese boaters.
