With its great load capacity, the Saguenay is ideal for long expeditions.

It is remarkably responsive, in both calm and choppy water conditions. A moderate rocker allows the kayak to change directions quickly while leaning or using the rudder. The Saguenay combines the speed of a long craft with the nimbleness of a shorter kayak and offers an excellent compromise between primary and secondary stability.

The mighty Saguenay River is the only fjord in meridian Québec, and one of the deepest and most beautiful in the world. It is subject to strong tides and rapid changes in climate and environment. Seals and belugas inhabit the fjord, and small rorquals and fin whales may be seen near its mouth at the St. Lawrence River. With luck, you may even catch sight of a blue whale.
