Paddling Life and Playak Reach Content-sharing Agreement

Paddling Life and Playak Reach Content-sharing Agreement
Paddling Life (www.paddlnglife.net) and Playak (playak.com) have reached an agreement to share content, bringing their collective reach and news from the paddling world to more readers than ever.

The move is designed to allow the web sites to better bring their content to the masses. Paddling Life gains wider readership for its news coverage while Playak gains the ability to carry that news coverage.

Under the agreement, Playak -- an international news and information community for paddlers around the globe -- will stream top stories from Paddling Life's web site to both its homepage and newsletter. The collaboration will bring Paddling's Life editorial-driven content to a much broader audience, while augmenting Playak's news offerings.

"I'm excited about this new cooperation because it adds an editorial edge to our news section," says Playak founder and president Jeroen Houttuin. "This has long been a strength of Paddling Life and perfectly complements the existing Playak services."

Paddling Life founder and 20-year industry veteran Eugene Buchanan agrees, adding, "This is a great way to combine our two strengths to better serve the paddlesports community as a whole. Playak has always had a great penetration into the international paddling community, and this will complement its news offerings even more. It should be a great partnership, with the ultimate goal of bringing more news to more readers."

The collaboration automatically streams content from Paddling Life to a special portal on the Playak site. While both sites will still operate independently, the partnership promises to benefit both sites as well as their collective readers.
