Aug 2 Social Wenonah FB Our friend Kurt Bryska competed in the MR 340 race last week in a Minnesota 3. Here's what he had to say: 'Last week I competed in the Missouri 340 canoe race with my good friend, Scott Duffus. It is a 340 mile non stop race across the state of Missouri--from Kansas City to St. Charles (St. Louis). I was most worried about how I would handle sitting in a canoe for that long. Paddling the Minnesota 3 was the best choice we could have made. The tractor seats with the seat pads that stretch over the seats were great. The race took us 42:55 minutes and we spent only 20 minutes out of the canoe. The boat was fast and easy to control even with all our water and gear. It was fun gliding by racing boats and surf skis. Best of all, the Minnesota 3 handled the 3 foot plus waves from the barges. I can't imagine paddling that far in any other boat. Thanks Wenonah Canoe!' Great job Kurt and Scott!
