'This is gonna be a jumbled mess of words, but I had to get it out there and it was too much to unload on the guys I paddled with without sounding like a crazy person. I haven’t really paddled a regular Braaap on class V very much and haven’t owned one for several years, but finally had the chance to take one down something steep, stacked, and technical at a pretty juicy level the other day. This might be due to gaining some strength and slipping into a better weight range for the boat, but it was one of the best days I’ve ever had in a kayak. To the locals in creek boats, there probably wasn’t much special about it. The Braaap was the difference.
