Jul 26 Social Eric Jackson Throwback Thursday..also known as Speedo Thursday.. 1990.. Bedroom where Kristine and Iived in the basement in Brookmont, MD, then Brazil Training with Richard Fox for 6 weeks in the winter, where I wore a speedo everyday.. followed by the birth of my first child, Emily Jackson. Colorful boat on right is my new one, black boat was my old one. I won the National Championships that year in Wausau, Wisconsin for men's kayak in slalom, and battled it out for 1st place with Richard Fox in the Champion International Whitewater Series. I was winning after 2nd runs until Richards last run to edge me out. My only time beating him was in Brazil in the 'Copa 90' event in Nova Friburgo in Rio de Janeiro. Emily is seen in front of a townhouse we tried to live in when she was born, but we were evicted due to lack of paying rent (like in Happy Gilmore.. I would have paid but I didn't have any money.'). We ended up in Atlanta at Riverbend apartments because they offered 'no deposit ...
