Jun 1 Social Instagram LYFSUP’s TEEN “SUP EXPERIENCE” Camp is on the schedule! °°Each day, SUP campers will get a chance to receive hours of professional SUP instruction from Paddlefit/WPA Certified SUP coach/RYT 500 yoga teacher, lifelong surfer and LYFSUP founder, Allison Martin-Attix. Allison has been coaching SUP for over 5 years, trained with some of the top SUP coaches/racers in the world and has surfed competitively (read more about Allison in her bio www.lyfsup.com/about ). Campers will learn vital SUP skills, learn about their local environment and have a ton of fun playing outside on the water with their peers! This camp is designed to create lifelong Stand-Up Paddlers that develop positive, healthy social and physical fitness habits. Students will enjoy: • Morning Stretching/Yoga • SUP Equipment Basics (including how to choose the right gear!) • SUP / Water Safety • Proper SUP technique • Specialized SUP “NINJA” footwork skills • SUP SURF skills (yes! Your camper will learn how to take their SUP to the surf!) • SUP Tours on Jordan Lake • Healthy Snacks • Jordan Lake Cleanup Session • And the ALOHA SPIRIT! Ages 12-16 Session dates: July 17th – 20th Time: 8:30 am meet-up – 1 pm pickup Location: Jordan Lake State Park, central meet-up location to arrange carpooling with varied water access points!
