May 1 Social Dagger FB Team Dagger's Adriene Levknecht sits down with Forbes for a little Q&A. Always good to see whitewater kayaking represented in a positive light in mainstream media.
Apr 8 Social Dagger FB At Dagger Kayaks we are all about inspiring the next generation. We recently had the honor of giving a production tour to 22 students of the 8th grade Girls Program from the French Broad River Academy. We also provided education on business, product development and influences within paddlesports. Team Dagger athletes Anna Levesque and Adriene Levknecht discussed their journey, influences and successes with the group of young ladies. Their stories were inspiring on all levels. In addition to the tour and education, the FBRA students assisted with creating a custom Dagger Axiom 8.0, which we donated to support the school's Spring fundraiser.
Apr 5 Social Dagger FB American Whitewater is once again asking for your help. Take a minute and take action today with their easy action form: http://bit.ly/CleanWaterAW19 Protect our rivers water quality! Use the form to tell the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) they should be doing more, not less, to protect clean water. The EPA is proposing a new rule that would limit the scope of the Clean Water Act, removing protections for seasonal streams and adjacent wetlands. Boaters know that pollution upstream, even in intermittent streams and wetlands, becomes pollution downstream. If we want to paddle in water that won’t make us sick, not to mention have clean water to drink, we need to fight the implementation of this new rule. The EPA is only accepting comments on this until April 15, so take action today and #StandUp4CleanWater – and remember to personalize your message if you have time, it makes a big difference. Thank you! Paddler: Adriene Levknecht Photo: Evan Stafford
