North Rhine-Westphalia, Bonn Area, Irrel, Irrel Wasserfälle
Playspot: Germany, North Rhine-Westphalia, Bonn Area, Irrel, Irrel Wasserfälle.
What's it like
One large playspot (500 meters long) with beautiful green waves, little holes and rocks to splat on. Depending on water levels, it varies between II+ and IV-. Starting at level 70 it's nice and from 100 even better. If it's below 70, don't bother....
How to get there
In Echternach, drive over the Echternachbrücke (this is also the border between Luxembourg and Germany). Stay on this road until you pass under a bridge. On your right you will now see a small sign 'Irrel'. You are now on the E29 between Echternach and Bitburg. Driving through Irrel you'll see a large square tower. Here you turn right. Follow this road until the end of the village. Now after 600 meters there is a parking place on your right. The waves and playspots are on the other side of the road.
From Germany it is much more difficult to find, so just drive to Echternach first.
