Dan Gavere is known by some to be the "Godgather of whitewater SUP." His first paddle boarding on the river dates back to 2007 after an already illustrious whitewater boating career.
When I first explored rivers his YouTube videos inspired me. Though I didn't want to necessarily paddle off big waterfalls like his attempts of Celestial Falls in Oregon, I did want to explore as many different types of rivers as possible on a board.
Over the years I have had the pleasure to paddle with Dan on the White Salon river and beyond. In this episode we sit down with him to get his perspective about paddle boarding in general and some of the things he's up to.
