New site launch - www.teamnecky.com

New Team Web Site to provide tips, adventure notes and increased interaction with the paddling community.

Paddlers craving direct access to some of the sport’s premier paddlers now have it, right at their fingertips. Necky Kayaks and Extrasport are unveiling a new Team Necky Web Site, featuring members of Team Extrasport, aimed at connecting paddlers to their group of experienced paddlers who can answer questions and offer insights on the sport they love.

The dynamic, continually changing Team Necky Web Site (teamnecky.com), including a blog (online journal), will provide a forum to chronicle the athletes recent paddling trips and demo days as well as member bios and travel/demo schedule. The creation of this Web site allows paddlers access to a core of individuals with on-water expertise directly involved with the testing and R&D input for Necky boats.

“This Web site allows Necky and Extrasport to connect with paddlers in a more personal and interactive manner,” said Sara Knies, Director of Marketing for Necky Kayaks. “Teamnecky.com will be a great resource to paddlers as their on-water experiences grow and evolve.”

The Web Site will also feature a link to a forum hosted by BoaterTalk.com, providing a message board for team members to answer paddlers’ questions, to arrange on-water meetings and to provide tips ranging from which boat is right for them to instruction on the latest moves or outfitting.

“Team Necky is a group of paddlers experienced in a diverse range of paddling disciplines including freestyle, instruction, competition, surfing, creeking, videography and photography but, most importantly they are all very approachable and want to share their experiences with the boating community,” said Greg Enos, Team Necky/Extrasport manager.

In addition to traveling across the globe in pursuit of the world’s greatest paddling locales, team members live fairly “normal lives” doing everything from running their own businesses, working or going to school. “We’re just a group of boaters who happen to work and live within the paddling industry, and we love what we do,” says Spencer Cooke, team member.
“We’re really excited to be a part of this awesome community and are happy to share our paddling experiences through this web site,” stated team member and designer of the site, Joey Hall.
