Liquidlogic's Running a New Kind of First Decent

Liquidlogic Kayaks is expanding its product line this season to include its first ever paddleboard. With versatility as its first name, this board is not a surfboard, a riverboard or a flatwater board, it is an everywhere board. This rotomolded paddleboard is durable, maneuverable and, thanks to the unique spring loaded, retractable skeg, tracks amazingly well in open water. The Versa Board will open up the sport to the many who have found traditional stand-up paddleboards unstable and difficult to manage while providing comfort and performance that everyone can appreciate and enjoy.

It would be a misnomer to classify the Versa Board simply as a standuppaddleboard because while it is extremely stable and easy to maneuver while standing, it is also comfortable and easy to paddle while seated. "We have never designed anything this versatile," says Woody Callaway brand manager of Liquidlogic. "It's a hybrid design, half stand up paddleboard and half sit on top kayak and is really comfortable, especially if you add one of the a la carte outfitting options." The DVC seat not only drains, vents and cushions to provide long lasting comfort but the Solar Screen fabric stays cool and withstands sun and water damage; plus, the seat easily tilts backward to increase board
space when standing and includes a leg lifter wedge for additional comfort. Alternatively, the patent-pending First Class Seat system made of solar screen seat material suspended over an anodized pewter frame adds an additional comfort while the patent-pending swivel platform it is attached to gives unprecedented mobility while seated or easily tilts back to clear the deck when standing. Both seating systems are sewn in our Greensboro, NC factory and can easily be attached and removed from the Versa Board.
