DannyT Offline Senior Member Posts: 27 Thank you received: 0	I paddle one and love it. Im finding it difficult to start playboating in it but I think I just need to throw in some padding etc. Surfs like a dream and runs rivers quite well IMO wouldnt take it on anything huge though.

i found the techno excellent on any wavelike feature and especially so on surf. It,s probably the fastest non surf specific boat out there. i believe corran's original prototypes were far more radical and closer to a true surf kayak. As far as playboating is concerned it depends on whether you are using tried and tested moves or trying new ones. i found when trying new moves the forks were very unforgiving and made it very difficult to learn. A further problem is the weakness associated with the forks. I split mine by hitting the water doing a seal launch from a ten foot drop. Fortunately, it was still under warranty and riot replaced it no problem.

I loved mine it was an awsome boat the boat that got me into aerials awsome playboat which taught you about edge control also how to do things properly if you do things right it rewards u but if you dont u get a spanking great way to learn how to paddle! agreat boat and my friend is paddling it no still going stong and very comfy boat stick the fins on an go for a surf far better than the butt bouncing slow boats around :dance:
