2007 World Championships 19 years 4 months ago #1565

Hi,
I was wondering where are the 2007 World Championships being held? I know its along time away but I was wondering where they are being held as I know its on a wave so I have to start getting out the holes and onto some wave's and see what my flair 47 can really do.

Also where is the best place to pratice wave moves? I am 10mins away from hpp so I paddle there all the time, the muncher and trent weir are the closest sort of waves near me or would hurley be the best place to pratice.

I am hopefully going to france next year to Lyon for a few days so I can paddle the wave there.

So does anyone know of a website or an email address so i could find more details

hopefully they will be able to guarentee the right water levels for the comp as the Qubec Hydro ppl dont usually listen to us kayakers and think about the money for the lecy from the dam.

think its being run by ottawa kayak school through WT

I think one of the best places to learn wave moves is in the ocean. Set up at the top of the waves, lean forward, and initiate an edge as you drop in, and then bounce and decide in the air!

It's not as fun as a river, but it's a great way to get the muscle memory.

Cheers,
Mike
