Hey, im a newbie who has been paddling on and off for three years, mainly at summer camps. i feel i can easily run class iv but really would like to get more into playboating. i can flatwater sqirt, backdeck roll, and want to get more into loops and cartwheels. i own a perception shock, but i feel much more comfortable in schorter boats like the liquidlogic scooter and the jackson fun series. I way 120 lbs and am 5'5'', any sudgestions?

There are absolutely LOADS of playboats around alot of which would suit you. My recommendation is find a canoe/kayak shop and ask to try out as many as u can. Im just under 6' and weigh about 130lbs. i would say the jackson fun series (combines playboating and river running), liquid logic playboats, riot flair47...... ah i cud go on for years lol. just try as many as u can. :)

We'll don't go out and run any class IV... by yourself. I'm 16 and about your size. What rivers do you paddle. The fun series is good, but there is no perfect answer to a playboat. Try all the playboats you can and pick that way.
