it depends what you want to do? river running or play boating?

the fly is a good boat, but a little slow. the prelude is tippy but a bit faster. the zoom is tippy and responsive ww boat. the cu-fly is an out and out play boat.

Thanks guys, I already have a C1 SUPERRAD 180 as a playboat and whatever I get will be used for creek boating and gentle river running with my wife. I definitely don't want a CU Fly.
Does anyone know how the Esquif Taureau paddles, how comfortable is it, and does anyone have any photos of the seat set up :roflol: :notworthy:

08' proto Taureau FS, UN-outfitted 16 years 7 months ago #22992

HIPPO,
Are you still looking?
I'm selling my 08' prototype Taureau. No outfitting in it yet...I also have large block of quality minicell(light grey - med density).
Popriveted seam around bow & stern areas...4 light scratches(PTEXed over to smoothen out) where the portion of rivet extends before chopping off...(Argghh)...light to no depth. Other than that...it's a new/mint boat!
Asking $800 (buyer would pay to ship...I can drive thru NewEngland a bit)
Garaged in Bangor, Maine...
...*About as far away as we can get eh' Stan...but boat is only 8' and 35lbs...can't see why airlines wouldn't take.

You know you want a CU Fly really, It's so much fun.

As for the Taureau, the seating is a very good foam bulkhead that encompasses most of your lower body as to avoid th?e need for straps. Highly comfortable.... but do you want to paddle something that orange and that ugly?
