Mar 7 Social Instagram Perfect sunrise, mist coming up off the lake... hard not to love #algonquinpark. So many lakes and rivers to explore, you could spend years trying to see all that this amazing park has to offer. The more portages and further you go back from the access lakes, the more it feels like you have the park to yourself. This picture was taken on a three day trip in September, which is the perfect time to go to the park. The weather is (usually) still great, the water still warm and the summer crowds are back home in school mode. We went during the week and though we were only one portage off the access lake, we only saw one or two other groups.
